The story
Wixey is the bakery you call the week of when you didn't plan ahead, and Denise walks you through it and saves you $100. They do wedding cakes — heart-shaped with vintage frosting, the kind people regret not finishing the slice of. They do birthday saves — last-minute musical-keyboard decorations on a Friday. They do donuts that one reviewer compared to heaven. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 6 to 5. Closed Sunday and Monday.
